BETA RR 50 WHEELIE

BETA RR 50 WHEELIE

The BTR RR50 Wheelie Edit is a short, street-level look at one rider’s session with his bike. Filmed in natural daylight, the video uses low angles, tracking shots, and close-ups to show the height, balance, and style of the wheelies. The raw engine sound carries through the edit, giving it an authentic feel. With no big setup or production team, it’s a small project that keeps the focus on the ride itself — capturing a simple, spontaneous moment that every rider can relate to.

The video was shot with a focus on keeping the action clear and easy to follow. Most shots are from a low angle to give the wheelies more height on screen, and the framing keeps both rider and bike fully visible so the stunt is never cut off. Natural daylight was used to keep the colors real and avoid the flat look that artificial light can bring in outdoor settings. There’s no heavy color grading — just enough adjustment to make the sky and asphalt pop without losing the raw street vibe.

Because the project was small and spontaneous, the filming was done in just a short session. The camera stayed mobile, often moving alongside the bike to keep the motion smooth. Some shots were handheld to catch unexpected moments, giving the footage a bit of natural shake that matches the energy of the ride. In editing, the sound of the two-stroke engine was kept in almost every shot, with cuts made to keep the stunts in sequence and the flow tight without dragging.

The whole idea was to capture the simple fun of pulling wheelies on a small bike. No scripted story, no location changes — just the rider, the BTR RR50, and an open stretch of road. By focusing on one skill and showing it from different angles, the video becomes less about showing off and more about documenting a moment in riding culture. It’s about the connection between rider and machine, and the satisfaction of nailing the balance point again and again.
